Leaving Nanny’s house late at night, under a cold, clear, winter sky, the bright, white moon follows us along the Boston Post Road. I shiver, huddle up to a sister, to try to keep warm. Under the twinkling light of millions of stars, a canopy over my bedtime, Mom drives us home.
